Methodology: How This Site Compiles Back At You Reviews
Every number on this site can be traced to a public source. This page explains where the data comes from, how it is combined, and what is editorial judgment versus platform-published fact.
Where the data comes from
Ratings, review counts, and quotes are compiled from public review platforms. We do not host or collect reviews ourselves — every figure links back to its source:
- G2: 4.6 out of 5, 29 reviews
- Trustpilot: 5-star TrustScore, 143 reviews
- Capterra: 4.5 out of 5, 54 reviews
- GetApp: 58 verified reviews, 58 reviews
Brokerage-level findings on the For Brokerages page come from a separate source: client interviews conducted by T3 Sixty, the real estate industry research and advisory firm, in a study commissioned by Back At You. They are labeled as such wherever they appear and are not part of the review-platform aggregate above.
How the 4.8/5 aggregate is computed
The headline rating is a review-count-weighted average of the platform ratings above: each platform's score is multiplied by its review count, summed, and divided by the total number of counted reviews (226). GetApp's 58 reviews are deliberately excluded from this calculation because GetApp shares the Gartner Digital Markets review pool with Capterra — counting both would double-count the same reviewers. The aggregate is recomputed automatically from the platform figures, never set by hand.
How quotes are selected
The 16quotes featured on this site are a curated selection, not the complete review population, chosen to illustrate the recurring themes in public reviews. Quotes are reproduced from the source platforms; where a platform publishes reviews anonymously, we attribute the quote as a verified reviewer of that platform with the role they stated. Every platform's complete review set is linked so you can read everything we did not quote.
Category scores (Customer Support 4.8/5 and the rest) and comparison verdicts are editorial assessments based on recurring review themes — they are labeled as such wherever they appear and are not platform-published figures.
